Gaz Holgate, one of the members of the Philippine Volcanoes, is also now in showbiz, under the management of Leo Dominguez. One of his first projects is being part of the “It’s Our First Time” music video of Solenn Heussaff, whose career is also being managed by Leo. That’s not the only similarity or connection. The two are actually childhood friends who saw one another back when their families were still living in Forbes Park. Gaz has clarified, however, that he never courted Solenn. At present, the rugby player has a girlfriend back in Wales. She is of Greek descent and she’s studying makeup. Solenn and Gaz may not be an item but there is no denying that they have chemistry, basing on the “It’s Our First Time” music video shoot. SOLENN HEUSSAFF is happy to be ending the year with an entry in the Metro-Manila Filmfest, Regal’s “Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow”. She plays Maricel Soriano’s half sister who defies their entire family when she falls in love with Dennis Trillo, a physical therapist. This is her third movie after “My Valentine Girls” and “Temptation Island”. “This is really going to be a very memorable year for me,” she says. “After I joined ‘Survivor Philippines’, I went into acting in movies and TV shows, I’ve also recorded my first album, did my first concert and now doing a lot of mall shows to promote it.”
